ISD -IMPACT SHOCK DIFFUSER-
A new solution to protect ladders from waves
Examples of damage caused by powerful waves
In rough weather, powerful waves can strike ladders installed on deck and damage the equipment. On actual vessels, cracks in the tread plates or deformation of structural parts can make the ladder unsafe and unusable. This may lead to PSC findings, and in the worst case, the vessel may be unable to depart and be placed off-hire.

Protects against waves without interfering with ladder function
Distributes impact
A shield is installed beneath the ladder so it does not interfere with operation. It disperses wave energy and reduces the load on the ladder.
Completed on site
The shield is bolted in place, allowing quick replacement if damaged. Because it is supplied as a semi-finished unit, installation does not require docking and can be completed by the vessel's crew.
Highly versatile unit structure
The connectable unit design allows flexible adaptation to each vessel. By adjusting the pillar position and making simple height adjustments, it can be used on most ships.
